Who We Are
About Strong Hands United
We are a community-rooted nonprofit committed to protecting the vulnerable, educating the empowered, and building a safer world — together.
Our Story
Our Story
Strong Hands United was born from a deep conviction that every person deserves to live free from exploitation, fear, and need. Founded by community members who witnessed firsthand the devastating effects of human trafficking and resource insecurity, we set out to build something different — a place where awareness meets action.
What started as grassroots education workshops has grown into a full-service nonprofit offering awareness programs for children and adults, community safety initiatives, and the SHU Closet — a free storehouse of essential resources for anyone in need. We believe that strong communities are built one hand at a time.
Our Mission
"To educate, empower, and protect communities through human trafficking awareness, safety programming, and free resource distribution — because every person deserves dignity, safety, and support."
Our Vision
"A world where every community is informed, equipped, and united against exploitation and no one faces hardship alone."
